Dadu was founded in 2015 by Jodi Hays. Programming reflects an interest in the intersections of art and life. The name comes from the Nashville city code name for tiny homes, "mother in laws" on one’s property, Detached Accessory Dwelling Units. The space has hosted work by Christopher Roberson, Erika Ranee, John Ros, Kariann Fuqua, Mark Brosseau, Brian Edmonds, Susanna Bluhm, among others (Coop Gallery Members). Artist Talks include Clare Grill, John Ros and Jodi Hays.
